How It Works
Step 1
Check Hours
Ensure you have not attended the same CPC subject in the 5 year cycle and your current training status. Use the GOV.UK website to confirm that you are ready for more CPC training hours.
Step 2
Booking
Select from either in-person training or an online course and complete your purchase at the checkout. A member of our sales team will contact you to confirm dates and course details with you.
Step 3
Attend Course
Complete our 7-hour, 1-day course with the guidance of our experienced NVDIR-qualified instructors. When the course is finished you will have fulfilled your hours requirement for the next period.
Step 4
Keep Driving
You can now use the GOV.UK website to evidence to your current or future employer that your hours have been completed and you're CPC-compliant.
What happens if I don’t complete Periodic CPC training?
All professional drivers are required to complete 35 hours of CPC training over a 5 year period to keep hold of their driver qualification card. Failure to complete these hours will require professional bus, lorry and coach drivers to complete a ‘Return to Driving’ course but this can only be done once every 5 years.
You cannot continue to drive for hire or reward without a valid CPC.
Where can I complete my CPC training locally?
You can complete in-person CPC training on site with us in Sutton in Ashfield, Flint, Wolverhampton, Hereford, or take part in our interactive online course.
How can I check my CPC hours?
You can check your driver CPC periodic training hours on the government website.
You can also check which CPC courses you’ve attended and create a temporary password so employers can view your previous history.
