At Chevron, our training fleet has been specifically designed to build your confidence faster. Our trucks are custom built to meet the full DVSA test standard, but they're lower to the ground and more agile than a full-size artic, so your first time behind the wheel feels manageable, not overwhelming.
You wouldn't take your first driving lesson in the biggest car on the road. The same logic applies here. By the time you pass, you'll have all the skills you need, and the step up to a full-size truck at work is only around a metre in length. The licence you earn is exactly the same.

Which training courses are available at Chevron?
We offer a diverse range of courses for high-demand roles, including:

You can also complete a one-day course to keep you CPC-compliant. You’ll be paired with a highly-experienced instructor, who has the know-how to get you the best results and give you the support you need. Our NVDIR-qualified instructors will cover everything to get you ready for the practical on-road test, no matter which type of training you choose.
How much does HGV training in Flintshire cost?
Depending on the type of training you’re looking for, our prices differ. We have HGV taster sessions starting at £49, through to training courses to help you become a fully qualified HGV driver. We also offer Lifft Core, with the standard package helping you save £480 on your HGV training. This will help you with completing all of the prerequisites, while getting you road-ready in the most efficient way.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we offer flexible payment plans for most of our training courses. You can choose to pay in full, split the cost into 3 or 4 installments, delay payment for 30 days or select a longer-term finance option with monthly payments and interest.
