Our Journey
The HGV School has been running for 20 years, originally based on Planetary Road, and now based directly on a test route through Willenhall. The industrial revolution was born in the Black Country, with high demand in the area for haulage and multi-drop deliveries. We prioritise practical, hands-on training that equips you to become road-ready within a matter of days, with strong connections to the University of Wolverhampton, Bidfood and Oliver Kay Produce

Our office is located at Era Site (Bay 8) on Ezekiel Lane. The site is easily accessed via the A454 (The Black Country Route) or the A462, situated in the Willenhall area of Wolverhampton.

Where Will My Test Take Place?
Whilst we do all our training out of our own private yard, you can take your test at any of the locations shown here. Our instructor will meet you at the depot and accompany you on a warm-up drive to the test centre, where you will take your test.

How much does HGV training in the West Midlands cost?
The HGV School transport training, located in the West Midlands, has a range of different prices, depending on the type of training you want. We have HGV taster sessions starting at £49 if you’d like to try out this new career path, through to training courses to help you gain full transport qualifications.
We also offer Lifft Core, with the standard package helping you save £480 on your HGV training. This will help you with completing all of the prerequisites, while getting you road-ready in the most efficient way.
Do you offer payment plans on HGV training in Wolverhampton?
Yes, we offer flexible payment plans for most of our training courses. You can choose to pay in full, split the cost into 3 or 4 installments, delay payment for 30 days or select a longer-term finance option with monthly payments and interest.
