Why Choose ADR Training?

An ADR licence is one of the quickest ways to move into specialist, higher paid haulage. Here is why drivers add it:

Higher Earning Potential

ADR work such as fuel and chemical haulage is among the best paid in the industry. Adding the qualification is one of the fastest ways to lift what you earn behind the wheel.

Specialist Skills in Demand

Dangerous goods move every day, but few drivers are qualified to carry them. An ADR card makes you valuable to employers and far harder to replace.

More Work You Can Take On

From tankers and fuel deliveries to chemicals and gases, ADR opens loads that ordinary HGV drivers cannot carry. It widens the jobs available to you across the country.

Builds on Your HGV Licence

ADR sits on top of your existing licence as a short, focused course with a big return. The training can also count towards your Driver CPC periodic hours.

What Can You Do with an ADR Qualification?

An ADR licence lets you carry dangerous goods that other drivers legally cannot touch, such as fuel, gas, paint, acids and aerosols. It is the gateway to tanker work, fuel distribution and chemical haulage, which sit among the best paid driving jobs on the road. Because relatively few drivers hold it, an ADR card makes you more employable and harder to replace.

The qualification covers all aspects regarded as a full ADR qualification built from a compulsory core module, tanks, packages and Classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9. The certificate stays valid for five years.
